Job Summary:
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies to improve our search engine rankings, drive qualified traffic, and increase brand visibility. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify relevant search terms and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement on-page optimization strategies, including optimizing website content, meta tags, and site structure.
- Implement off-page optimization strategies, including link building, content marketing, and social media promotion.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues that may be hindering search engine performance.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, keyword rankings, and other key SEO metrics using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Collaborate with content creators, developers, and other marketing team members to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all online activities.
- Develop and present regular reports on SEO performance and progress.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve website speed, mobile-friendliness, and user experience.
- Manage and optimize local SEO listings (e.g., Google My Business).
- Conduct A/B testing on various SEO elements to optimize performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, best practices, and algorithm updates.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other analytics platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with e-commerce SEO is a plus (if applicable).
